Samsung is an enormous electronics entity with earnings that near the $100 billion a year mark. Most people know Samsung for their cell phones, tablets, TVs, or home appliance products.

Samsung netbooks are very well known by enthusiastic netbook users.

For example, let’s take a look at the N150 Series Netbooks

Samsung N150 Series NetbooksAlthough a pretty standard netbook by design (the keyboard, case, and battery are special), this Samsung netbook does offer some rather features and colors.

Beginning with a powerful Intel Atom N455 processor and Windows 7 Starter OS. Together, you’ll speed through whatever comes your way. The non-glare 10.1″ screen gives you plenty of room to write, edit photos, IM and update your status.

The Samsung netbook also makes an accommodating hub for your digital life, with a 4-in-1 memory card slot, 3 USB 2.0 ports (one sleep & charge) and other connections that make it easy to connect a digital camera, printer and more. At a scant 2.7 lbs, you can pick up and go at a moment’s notice, and the battery (up to 9 hours) is good for all day.

N150 Series Netbook Customer Reviews

This is actually my second Samsung NP150, having bought the red/white for my daughter 3 months earlier.

Samsung made some changes, the DRAM is actually DDR3 now which is supposed to be slightly faster and less power hungry than DDR2 variety. My daughter’s was DDR2, but I didn’t notice any significant difference in battery time, though I haven’t exactly tested side-by-side either.

Very good overall build quality but I felt that the red/white had slightly higher grade plastic. The keys are good-sized and provides very good tactile feel, but I prefer the keyboard on the HP netbook better. Small nitpick here.

These are actually very good performers for . My recommendation would be to remove the Norton AntiVirus software and instead run the Microsoft Security Essentials.

The second recommendation would be to upgrade to 2GB DRAM. You can get by with 1GB but with 2GB, everything is smoother and faster. The battery is awesome, more than 7 hours, still have life left over.

All in all, if you are looking for a netbook, this is an excellent choice over some lesser brands.
